Work — Overview
A kindergarten is designed as an innovative and accessible space dedicated to stimulating the well-being of children and their physical and intellectual growth, while preserving the environmental sustainability.
The kindergarten was designed to redefine the concept of well-being.
With meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence, we create spaces that enrich the education of the children who attend them.
An innovative wooden nest.
The project, which was completed in 2012, is located in the Municipality of Botricello, in the district of Catanzaro, Italy.
In the municipal garden along the coast of the Ionian Sea, a unique wooden kindergarten was designed to accommodate 50 children aged 0 to 3 years, named “The Nest in the Garden.”
A series of wooden arches create a dense “brise-soleil”, providing protection for the southeast and southwest façades from sunlight.
The museum is designed as an open-all-day centre that offers new educational opportunities for children and social interaction for the community.
